The first day was just a travel day. We went from Oswego, NY to Terre Haute, IN. Total miles for the day: 727. This was also the first day of the milegae game that Zach came up with. Each day everyone would put in a bid on how many miles we would drive from hotel to hotel. It gave us something to do. :) We got on the road around 9am from Oswego. Here are some pictures before we left... The vans are coming! The vans again Meredith and Vanessa Jason K. making his way from Hart Zach looks thrilled to be awake so early :) We got to the Pennsylvania border around noon. Pennsylvania welcomes you! At about 1:30pm we hit the Ohio border Welcome to Ohio! Around 2:30pm we had the pleasure of seeing Sparkles the Clown driving the Clown mobile down the highway. I don't have a picture of it yet, but I'll get one soon! We hit the Indiana border around 6:15pm, and at 9:45pm we arrived at the Super 8 motel in Terre Haute. |
