It was a tough day for supercells, at least where we were. There was quite a bit of low level cloud garbage around relatively early, so when we did get on a storm, it was hard to see the structure. Our first storm looked good for a little while, but then just became part of an MCS-type blob, and eventually went more squall line. Once it went squall line, we did get to see some nice shelf-cloud structure in that storm, and we saw a nice wall cloud (albeit almost totally rain wrapped) in another. So the day wasn't a total loss. We did 707 miles from Minot, ND to Sioux City, IA.
