Day Ten
This was probably the most disappointing day of the trip. Everything looked good for some sexy supercells, but it turned out to be a big giant bust. One possibility is that the moisture just wasn't deep enough. Also, a shortwave the RUC was picking up on moved through too fast. Even so, we were on a storm that put down a tornado, we were just about an hour late. We also drove through the Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota, so we saw some nifty landscape. We did a total of 658 miles from Murdo, SD to Minot, ND.
